To support its export sector, the government of Belize, together with the European Union, has built a new state of the art metrology laboratory. This Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) Standby Facility project is critical to the implementation of Belize’s national export strategy and plan, which is intended to increase exports and build capacity for exporters by enhancing existing opportunities and opening doors to new markets for the country’s goods. The project is funded by the European Development Fund and managed by the Caribbean Development Bank.
