The Caribbean Region is one of the world's most disaster prone areas, and is particularly vulnerable to climate related risks. Rising sea levels, changes in rainfall patterns and the increasing intensity and frequency of hurricanes are just some of the challenges facing the Region.

Against this background, the Caribbean Development Bank has made climate resilience a key priority. The Bank has set out to build the partnerships and make the investments that will help the Region and its people become more resilient to the impact of climate change.
