The Special Development Fund (Seventh Cycle) (SDF 7) strategy is anchored in the Caribbean Development Bank’s (CDB) Strategic Plan 2005-2009 and developed within the context of the regional economic and social environment, the impact of global trends on this regional environment and the lessons learned from the Bank’s experiences in the Special Development Fund (Sixth Cycle) (SDF 6) and earlier Special Development Fund (SDF) cycles (i.e. the Strategic Context).
