In the Contributors’ Report on the Special Development Fund (Eighth Cycle) (SDF 8) Replenishment Negotiations, it was agreed that there should be a Mid-Term Review (MTR) of SDF 8, and that this should take place in early 2015. The Review was intended to represent a central accountability mechanism for SDF 8, and to play a key role in Contributor oversight. The objective of the MTR was to assess progress on implementation of the Replenishment and on results achieved.
