This project will make major upgrades to 125 km of the key arterial route linking Belize City to the Mexican border, along the Philip S.W. Goldson Highway and the Remate Bypass. The project will enhance connectivity, efficiency, accessibility and resilience of the road transportation network in Belize and improve road safety for users. The works include pavement upgrades, road realignments, junction improvements, culvert construction and replacement, and installation of sidewalks, bus shelters, and pedestrian crossings.
