Topic: Development in a Context of Global Challenges: Experiences and Lessons from the African Development Bank.

This year’s William G. Demas Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina, President of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB). AfDB is playing a leadership role in the ongoing transformation of Africa through the implementation of its High-Five Strategy, as well as the Boost Investment Programme to promote and accelerate social and economic development on the continent. AfDB is a natural partner for forging closer ties and stronger relations between CARICOM and Africa.
