21st William G. Demas Memorial Lecture
The William G. Demas Memorial Lecture seeks to honour the thought leadership of CDB’s Second President, William G. Demas, by showcasing matters of significance to economic development in CDB’s member countries. Over the past 20 years, CDB has successfully attracted prominent and internationally recognised distinguished guest speakers from both academia and contemporary business to deliver the W.G. Demas Memorial Lecture.
This year is no different - the Bank has engaged Professor Mariana Mazzucato, Director of the University College London Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose. Professor Mazzucato will provide insights on the topic, 'Innovation in Small Open Economies.'
