Tourism is one of the major industries in the Caribbean, contributing up to 80% of the economies of some CDB Borrowing Member Countries. As such, building the climate resilience of the tourism sector is of critical importance. CDB has worked with the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) in this regard, funding CTO’s Climate Smart and Sustainable Caribbean Tourism Industry project.
