The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Indigenous Peoples Forum entitled, Catalysing Caribbean-Canada Collaboration on Indigenous Peoples Affairs for Resilient Prosperity, took place on June 17 at 8:00am (EDT).

The Forum brought together representatives from Indigenous Peoples and Tribal Groups from the Caribbean Region, Elders and Knowledge Keepers from Canada’s First Nations peoples, the Institute of Gender and Development Studies and subject matter experts.
