On November 12, 2012, President of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), Dr. Warren Smith, travelled on an official visit to borrowing member country of the Bank, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. On his visit, Dr. Smith met with the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. the Hon. Ralph Gonsalves to brief him on the progress which the Management of CDB has made in addressing the concerns recently raised by the rating agencies, and to discuss ways in which CDB could assist St. Vincent and the Grenadines in dealing with its most pressing issues. Drs. Smith and Gonsalves also exchanged views on how CDB could arrive at an expeditious resolution of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States financial sector crisis.
