CDB and the Government of Anguilla Strengthen Relationship

The identification of possible areas where the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) may offer medium term assistance to the Government of Anguilla was just one of the matters discussed during a recent visit by Chief Minister of Anguilla, the Honourable Hubert Hughes to CDB Headquarters, Wildey, Barbados. During his visit on Thursday, June 13, 2013, Chief Minister Hughes made a courtesy call to CDB President, Dr. Warren Smith, where they discussed, inter alia, the financial sector in Anguilla and the requirements for access to the climate action line of credit financed by the European Investment Bank. Chief Minister Hughes also met separately with staff of the Operations Area, including Vice-President (Operations), Dr. Carla Barnett; Director, Projects Department, Mrs. Tessa Williams Robertson and Director, Economics Department, Dr. Justin Ram to discuss a range of topics, including CDB's assistance programme for Anguilla.
