Dr. Wm. Warren Smith, President of the Caribbean Development Bank, will host the Bank’s 2019 Annual News Conference. He will be joined by Dr. Justin Ram, Director of Economics and Mr. Daniel Best, Director of the Projects Department. Following the presentations, there will be a brief Q&A session.

Dr. William Warren Smith will provide an overview of 2018 regional economic performance and a forecast for 2019. He will also discuss the main challenges facing CDB’s Borrowing Member Countries and outline recommendations for driving transformation in the Region.

Dr. Justin Ram will provide an analysis of the Region’s economic challenges and prospects and share recommendations for strengthening implementation in the Caribbean.

Mr. Daniel Best will highlight the results of CDB-supported projects implemented in 2018 and review planned projects and expected outcomes for 2019.
